South County Board & Train offers additional Add-On services and training packages to help you customize your dog’s stay in addition to our standard boarding. You can read more about these services in the drop-down menu on the left.
Standard boarding includes the following:
Amenities:
A private kennel space with a blanket, dog bed, and durable chew item will be provided (if the owner allows). Family dogs are welcomed and encouraged to board together.
Exercise:
Morning and afternoon 25-minute outdoor play sessions. Plus additional bathroom breaks.
Enrichment:
Soothing classical music audio
Calming Lavander and or Apadtil© aromatherapy
Overnight Rates:
Single dog Rate: $60/Night
Multi-dog rate: $55 /Dog/Night
4+ dog rate: $50/Dog/Night
Puppies under 6 months: $100/Night
Your dog’s kennel is booked similarly to a hotel room. The kennel is booked for that day regardless of when you drop your dog off. The nightly rate covers the kennel for 24 hours, ending at 11:00 am the following morning. Dogs that are picked up during the evening hours will be charged an additional $30.

Day Rate:
Single dog: $45/ day
Multi- dog : $40/dog /day
Day Boarding is offered when our kennels are not filled with overnight guests. We do not offer day boarding during peak times.
Day boarding hours are between 8:00am and 5:00pm Monday - Friday only.
Holiday Policy:
A minimum stay requirement will be implemented for all major holidays, long weekends, and school vacations. (Usually 3-4 nights depending on the holiday).

We offer the following add-on services to help you customize your dog’s boarding experience with us. Please note that all services are pending in availability; please note your interest when booking.
Extra playtime: For the high-energy pup, add an outdoor play session. Limited to 1 extra per day.—$20
To-Go Home Bath: Pick your pooch up with them smelling as fresh as a daisy with this wash and dry service.
Dogs 25lbs and under—$40
Dog 25-40lbs—$50
Dogs 40lbs and up—$65
*Only available for dogs who tolerate baths
A Full Groom: Get ready to roll out the red carpet for this pooch on its way home! This service includes brushing, washing, drying, ear cleaning, and nail trimming. Pricing is determined on an individual basis.
Daily coat maintenance: Keeps your dog’s coat in the same condition as the coat they arrived in. Ideal for dogs with hair or coats prone to matting or tangling. Please note that this is not a de-matting service.—$10/day

We offer various training options for those looking to enhance their pups skill set during their stay. 5-day min. Booking fee: $60/day. Maximum of two training priorities per stay.
Foundations: A skills course that teaches/ reviews five essential training elements, including sit, down, hand target or “touch,” collar grab, and impulse control. This course includes two 30-minute daily training sessions —$ 30/day.
Rapid Recall: This training session works towards building a faster, more reliable response when you call your dog to you. Training occurs throughout the day in short bursts to help facilitate a fast and enthusiastic response. —$ 30/day.
Perfectly in Place: Here, we will teach your dog how to go to a dog bed or mat when cued and stay until released. It is ideal to use this skill when guests visit and when you want to manage your pup during hectic household moments while keeping them safely out of the way—$ 30/day.
Tricks: Mentally enrich your pup during their stay by allowing them the opportunity to learn a fun new trick. ( sit pretty, roll over, play dead, spin, leg weave, play bow, tell a secret...)—$ 30/day.
Nose work: A great way to mentally tire out your pup. Tapping into your dog’s natural hunting instinct, we teach them to sniff out treats and alert us to their location for a reward—$ 30/day.
